Lost and FoundIf you would like an animal added to the list, please send an email to Jenny Gifford with your information. Lost notices will be posted for 90 days. Found notices will be posted for 30 days. Visit the Humane Society, located at 400 Columbus Rd, to look for your lost cat. Visit the County Dog Pound to look for your lost dog. Be sure to visit the dog pound DAILY - Stray animals only have to be kept for 3 days. Visit PET FBI for 12 ways to find your lost pet. DO NOT DELAY! The sooner you start looking, the more likely you will be able to recover your pet. You should also create a lost or found printable flyer to distribute throughout the area. Please also report any lost or found dog to the county facility. They can be reached at 740-393-6713 or 740-393-6714 and are located at 285 Columbus Rd in Mount Vernon.

Dakota was accompanied by another of our dogs, who returned home without Dakota. Only one neighbor saw them, and we have placed info with area groups and persons to be on the watch for Dakota to no avail... We have searched a broad area. It is like he disappeared into "thin air". We suspect a passerby stopped and took him.............
Please, if you can be of help, we would appreciate it very much.
We miss him terribly and are concerned about his safety.

She is very friendly and loving with a nonstop wagging tail. She is a little chubby, so she's been well-fed. Although she has no collar, there is a divot where one has been worn for a long time. She does have a couple of distinguishing attributes which would be easy for her owner to identify. As much as we'd love to keep her, we just cannot. So won't you please help us find her Family? Sightings were "wolf with white face", I pray no one has shot her. Very friendly, name Jazz or Jazmine Lost 4/6/09, just east of Croton, sighted 4/7 on Appleton Rd, just east of Crouse Willison Rd Another possible sighting was days later, north of Croton, heading toward Knox county.
